Dust off your berets for Bastille Day at Bistrot La Minette

Independence Day has passed, but it was so much fun wasn’t it? Wanna do it again?

Join Chef Peter Woolsey at Bistrot La Minette on Wednesday, July 14 as he observes France’s independence.  Bastille Day commemorates the storming of the Bastille (a prison/fortress that was also used to store gunpowder and firearms) by French countrymen during the reign of Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI. This marked the beginning of the French Revolution.

To celebrate, Chef Woolsey will be serving grilled, house-made specialties like country sausage and marinated lamb. The four course French BBQ buffet is $35 a person.  Specialty cocktails ($5 each) will be mixed to pair with the fare.

Bistrot La Minette, www.bistrotlaminette.com, is located at 623 S. 6th Street. For reservations call 215-925-8000.
