Want a relaxing day of outdoor fun with the family? Head to Linvilla Orchards for their Annual Family Fun Fishing Derby on Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Transportation to the pond begins at 8 a.m. The cost is $14.99 per fisherman.

Orchard Lake will be stocked with more than 1,000 fish, which means this event’s perfect for kids.  Pole rental and bait are for sale right on site, plus there’s no license needed.

Lucky fishermen who snag a golden trout or tagged fish will win a prize.  And since the contest’s divided into age groups, even your littlest angler might just have it in the bag. Prizes range from trophies to fishing gear to pie and every contestant receives a free cookie from our bakery.
