Celebrate National Pigs-in-a-blanket day on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 with the OG hot dog aficionados at Destination Dogs.
Hot dogs and sausages are our forte so we decided to create our own version of the popular hors d’oeuvre; a delicately wrapped homemade dog-in-a-blanket to praise one of the best days of the year.
In the United States, pigs-in-a-blanket are hot dogs wrapped in flaky croissant like dough and baked until juicy and crisp. Commemorate the holiday and let us treat you to dogs-in-a-blanket from 5-7pm on Tuesday, April 24. Stop by and get cozy for happy hour with cocktails like the Texas-inspired People Pleaser and load up with endless dogs-in-a-blanket while supplies last.

This year we are looking forward to the incredible panel that they have lined up! We can’t wait for Christopher Hendon, or more commonly known as Dr. Coffee. He will be giving a talk and demonstration of how much of a role water plays into the taste, aromas, and even quality of coffee! Hendon will be talking about the chemistry of water, who even knew that had such an impact on your cup of coffee. We can’t wait to pick Hendon’s brain on how to improve our coffee in the office.
With the exciting lineup, it is hard to narrow it down to just our top two, but cheese always wins! Brian Keyser of Casellula Cheese & Wine Café, will be talking and hopefully, be bringing a plethora of cheeses to sample.

Chef Chris will be teaching guests how to make traditional Vietnamese pho. He will be demonstrating how to prepare the broth, char the aromatics, and toast the spices to create pho-fection. You’ll learn how to make three variations: traditional beef, coconut pork belly, and vegan mushroom tamarind.
Pho Friday will take place at Front & Palmer, located at 1750 North Front Street. Guests can sign up for the demo and dinner for $68 or just the dinner for $34. A cash bar and free parking will be available.
