Burgers, Beer and Sunshine Now Available!

The streets of Philadelphia began to buzz this weekend as the restaurant industry took a leap towards normalcy amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Restaurants throughout Center City Philadelphia opened their outdoor spaces to allow patrons the chance to experience sit down service for the first time in months.

Fans of the nautical-themed bar, Misconduct Tavern, were particularly excited to grab a spot at the restaurant’s Rittenhouse Square and Logan Square locations. In addition to their large selection of burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, and more, Misconduct was most excited to start serving up cold draft beers just in time to celebrate the start of summer in Philadelphia.

Enjoy outdoor dining at Misconduct Tavern daily from 12-10 pm at 1511 Locust St. or 1801 JFK Blvd. Visit misconducttavern.com for more information.

Philadelphia’s Restaurant Scene Comes Together for “Take Home the Eats Week” May 6 through May 10, 2020

When the impact of COVID-19 on the food and beverage industry began to hit Philadelphia, restaurateurs assembled. A digital hub, Save Philly Eats, was built from the ground up to generate income for the city’s restaurants and bars. What started as a small group of restaurants offering gift card discounts and exclusive experiences rapidly grew, now housing over 100 offers at restaurants across Philadelphia.

As Save Philly Eats continues to expand, so does their programming, with the announcement of their biggest event yet: Take Home the Eats Week. A play on Center City District Restaurant Week, restaurants participating in Take Home the Eats Week are compiling price fixe dining options for pickup Wednesday, May 6 through Sunday, May 10, 2020. Breslow Partners client, Vietnam Cafe, is offering their Ultimate Happy Hour Sampler, which serves four and includes favorites like crispy pork spring rolls, fried shrimp, beef stuffed grape leaves, and more.

Breslow Partners Team Member Gives Back to the Community

The city of Philadelphia, as well as the country and the world at large have seen the profound impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak firsthand. Breslow Partners is no exception, as the industries in which we specialize, hospitality and restaurants, have suffered astronomically throughout the outbreak.

Seeing this impact on our industry and many others, Max Raiken, an Account Manager at Breslow Partners, decided to spring into action and do what he could to slow the spread of the outbreak.

Alongside his mom Courtney, Max decided to head to the sewing machine and start making and distributing masks. The family’s purpose is multifaceted. They wanted to help the community by providing protection for those conducting essential duties, but they also wanted to contribute to the nearby Cooper University Hospital, where a member of the Breslow family, Brett Breslow, was recovering from COVID-19.

The Raikens are donating 100% of the proceeds from the custom masks to Cooper University Hospital, the Food Bank of South Jersey, and other organizations supporting those in need during COVID-19. So far, they have sold hundreds of masks in all different styles. Some of the Breslow Partners team has already purchased masks so they can social distance in style. To purchase your own mask and support The Raiken’s cause, please visit @justcgifts on Facebook or Instagram.
