Deviled Eggs with a Fiery Kick!

We have noticed that Deviled Eggs are becoming a popular  menu item. They are hatching all over town as more and more restaurants are getting creative with this standard hors d’oeuvre.

The Dandelion of Philadelphia, is located on the corner of 18th and Sansom Streets and makes their deviled eggs with curry, paprika and cayenne pepper for a smooth textured taste with a bit of a kick!

One order was not enough; in fact, they were so good we had to share them with you! The Dandelion’s mouth watering Deviled Eggs are on the British-pub’s happy hour list for only $2! Trying this simple, delicious and inexpensive appetizer is a definite must!

A tasty lunch break at Surah

The Japanese styled pancake with pork belly, cabbage, pickled ginger and dried bonito flakes.

The Breslow Partners team ate lunch at the recently opened Surah Restaurant in Spring House, PA and it was certainly a treat! Surah is Japanese restaurant that incorporates Korean dishes for a unique dinning experience that you simply have to taste.  First out from the kitchen was a spicy, crunchy tuna roll and a sweet potato roll. All sushi rolls come out in a personalized lunch box, and both offered variety in texture and flavor! Sushi can be filling, but not enough to keep us from digging into Okonomiyaki, which is a Japanese style pancake with pork belly, cabbage, pickled ginger, dried bonito flakes. This pancake was so rich in flavor and even put on a show! The bonito flakes danced all throughout the meal! As if that wasn’t enough, we also tried their LA Galbi (sweet and succulently flavored short ribs) with a side of iceberg lettuce, and soybean sauce to make lettuce wraps. On the side was a salad flavored with a kick! We left extremely satisfied and a craving for more of the delicious flavors Surah had to offer! Surah is definitely a place you’re gonna want to check out!

Surah  is located at 1121 N. Bethlehem Pike, Spring House PA 19477 and is open Monday through Sunday, 11 am to 10 pm. Call 267-470-4310 for reservations. For more information, visit www.surahpa.com.
