Pumpkinland Now Open at Linvilla Orchards

The leaves are beginning to change color which means that Pumpkinland is returning to Linvilla Orchards. This fall Linvilla will have an array of pumpkins to choose from ranging from the small and skinny to tall and plump. The pumpkin festival will have a number of Autumn activities including hayrides, pick-your-own apples, pumpkin ring toss, as well as a straw bale and corn mazes! The entertainment never ends as Linvilla will also feature live music, pony rides and face painting. Dietz and Watson will be on site selling their famous franks to celebrate the end of the summer and back to school season. Truck loads of food are coming to Linvilla Orchards for a Food Truck Frenzy on Saturday, July 20, 2019!  There will be a variety of delicious food truck options. Roasty Toasty, Have A Ball, Cupcake Carnivale, Cow & the Curd, Stuffed Buns, Mom-Mom’s Kitchen, The Plum Pit, Barkley’s BBQ and Humming Bird Island Cuisine are among the few on the food-tastic agenda.

Along with delicious truck treats there will be live music, hayrides, face painting and pick-your-own fruits and vegetables. You don’t want to miss this family-fun event! 

No need to fear, there will be beer here! Ship Bottom Brewery handcrafts every batch of beer and only uses the freshest ingredients. Not a beer person? Don’t whine about it, there will also be wine. This is going to be a day filled with food & fun!

Help Porsche Conshohocken Phil-a-Frunk this Thanksgiving!

On Thursday, November 29, 2018, Porsche Conshohocken will be sending a 2019 Porsche Cayenne filled with nonperishable food items to “Phil-a-Frunk” at the Capital Grille in King of Prussia.

In conjunction with WMMR’s Camp Out for Hunger and the Preston and Steve Show, Porsche is asking anyone and everyone to stop by their showroom and fill up the Cayenne with food items of their own. 

Last year, Porsche members raised a crazy 84,719 pounds of food and were the 4th largest donors for Philabundance in a three mile caravan featuring 188 Porsches and averaged 106 pounds of food per Porsche.

The cool thing about this event is that anyone can attend and help out! All you need is a trunk with nonperishable foods filled to the top. The event starts at the Capital Grille in King of Prussia and goes all the way to the Preston and Steve Show Camp out For Hunger at Xfinity Live.

Porsche is doing something good this holiday season and everyone who is or isn’t a Porsche owner should do the same thing. There is an increase every year of adults and children who go hungry every day in the Philadelphia area, and if you can help stop that trend then what are you waiting for?
