Breslow Partners Says Goodbye to Jesse: An Intern’s Exit Interview

beastpose

This week, Breslow Partners bids adieu to one of our interns, Jesse Rosenstein. A fourth-year Drexel student, majoring in Public Relations and Marketing, Jesse will be studying abroad in Chile this upcoming semester. We asked Jesse some questions about his experience before he left:

What was your favorite part of being a Breslow Partners intern?

My favorite part was definitely the camaraderie between the team. PR is a team effort, so it was always great that my colleagues had my back when I needed it. Oh, and the potlucks were pretty awesome.

What is the biggest lesson you learned as an intern?

The biggest lesson I learned is to put yourself out there. There’s nothing better than being in communication with a reporter, and them having no idea you’re just an intern. Take chances and you’ll see big results.

Who was your favorite person to work with at Breslow Partners?

I gotta give it to my project partner, creative designer, and rapper Dillon Hoilman. He went above and beyond to produce creative materials for our clients, bring in a fresh vision, and was always open to hearing new ideas. He also helped me combat the estrogen levels in the office.

What is your dream career?

Eventually I want to own a Public Relations/Marketing/Advertising firm. If things go as planned, the firm will have a drive-thru In-N-Out burger around the back, with batting cages and a small waterslide.

Do you have any advice for other interns in the public relations industry?

Don’t put limitations on what you can achieve. You’re never “just an intern” at Breslow Partners. I wasn’t sure what I would get out of this experience, but now 7 months later I’ve built my portfolio into something I never could have imagined

What are you most excited to see and experience in Chile?

Hiking, Surfing, Photography, and Wine.

If you could describe yourself in one emoji, what would it be?

I like the smirk emoji. This guy’s up to no good.

We will miss Jesse terribly and wish him well in all his future endeavors!
