This month at Bistrot La Minette, Chef Peter Woolsey steers his culinary caravan towards Provence. Provencal cuisine draws from its rugged coastal landscape that finds grazing sheep and goat as well as the bordering Mediterranean Sea.
On Wednesday, August 18th and Thursday, August 19th a four-course Provencal dinner menu (detailed below) will be offered at $35, or $50 with wine pairings.
Menu:
1- Pissaladiere (Onion, anchovy, and olive pie, salad)
Wine: Chateau Beulieu Rose, Grenache, Syrah, Provence
2- Rouget aux Bohémienne (Red mullet, eggplant stewed with tomatoes)
Wine: VMV Cotes De Ventoux Rose, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Provence
3- Tomate Farci (Veal and pork stuffed tomato, parmesan, tomato coulis)
Wine: Lulu B, Pinot Noir, Burgundy
4- Nougat Glace (Frozen Nougat, lavender honey, apricot sauce)
Wine: Muscat De Beaumes De Venise, Rousillon
