The fifth annual Philly Chef Conference is back and better than ever. This two-day event put on by Drexel’s Center for Food and Hospitality Management brings together students and industry leaders but also connects industry leaders with one another.
Philly Chef Conference links established food and hospitality professionals with aspiring students and young industry professionals. We thought we could give you some insight into our favorite events this year.
This year we are looking forward to the incredible panel that they have lined up! We can’t wait for Christopher Hendon, or more commonly known as Dr. Coffee. He will be giving a talk and demonstration of how much of a role water plays into the taste, aromas, and even quality of coffee! Hendon will be talking about the chemistry of water, who even knew that had such an impact on your cup of coffee. We can’t wait to pick Hendon’s brain on how to improve our coffee in the office.
With the exciting lineup, it is hard to narrow it down to just our top two, but cheese always wins! Brian Keyser of Casellula Cheese & Wine Café, will be talking and hopefully, be bringing a plethora of cheeses to sample.
